How To Unhide Sheets In Google Sheets

In this tutorial, you will learn how to unhide sheets in google sheets.

One useful feature of Google Sheets is the ability to hide sheets. This helps users focus on important information while hiding parts of the spreadsheet that may be outdated, confusing, or otherwise not useful at certain times.

While it’s fairly easy to hide a sheet by right clicking on the sheet’s name, it’s not immediately obvious how to bring back a sheet that’s been hidden, since there’s no longer anything to right click on. Don’t worry if you need to bring back a hidden sheet though, it’s actually very easy to do so by following these steps:

Step 1

Open the View menu and hover over Hidden Sheets. A list will appear with the names of all hidden sheets in the document bolded

Step 2

Click on the sheet you want to unhide and the sheet tab will appear in the tab bar at the bottom of the spreadsheet

Step 3

Note that only users who have edit permission to the sheet can unhide a sheet, so you may need to request edit access from the spreadsheet owner if you are unable to unhide a sheet
