Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to remove capitalization in Google Docs.
Step 1
First, open the document containing text you want to uncapitalize.

Use your cursor to select the text you want to uncapitalize. In this example, I want to convert the sentence “THIS IS A SAMPLE SENTENCE.” to lowercase.

We can also selectively uncapitalize letters except for the first letter of each word. This type of capitalization is known as title case. We can apply this capitalization by selecting Format > Text > Capitalization > Title Case.
