How to Undo Strikethrough Formatting in Google Docs
Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to undo strikethrough formatting in Google Docs.
First step is to open the document with the text you want to remove strikethrough formatting.
Use your cursor to select the text with strikethrough.
Click on Format > Text > Strikethrough to undo the strikethrough formatting.
You may also use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+5 to perform the same action.
If the strikethrough formatting is the only additional formatting applied to your text, you can also opt to you use the Clear formatting option.
You can find this option under Format > Clear formatting or you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+\.
Strikethrough formatting may also occur when working with the built-in Google Docs checklist feature.
To remove the strikethrough formatting, click on the dropdown arrow beside the bulleted list icon in the toolbar. Under the checklist menu dropdown, click the second option.
Items checked from your checklist should now no longer have strikethrough formatting.
