How to Delete Footnotes in Google Docs
Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to delete footnotes in Google Docs.
First, open the document that contains footnotes you want to remove.
You can determine a document has footnotes if there are sections of the text with superscript numbers which lead to small sections of text found at the footer of the page.
Use your cursor to select the superscript found in your text.
Hit the Backspace key to remove the superscript. This will automatically remove the footnote in your document.
Since Google Docs does not have a feature to remove all footnotes, the user must manually find each superscript within the document.
