You may find yourself wanting to print out a spreadsheet on paper. However, you only want to print out a certain range.
Fortunately, Google Sheets provides a convenient way to print only the cells you need. This can be helpful if you just need to print out a select portion of a larger spreadsheet, or if you want to save time and paper by only printing out the cells you need.
This guide will explain how to use Google Sheets to print out selected cells.
How To Set a Print Area in Google Sheets.
Here’s how to set up a print area in Google Sheets.
Step 1
First, select the cell range you want to print out.

In this example, we want to print out the range B6:G24.
Step 2
Next, select the option File > Print. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P.

Step 3
In the first drop-down menu, select the option labeled ‘Selected cells…’

Afterward, you may choose the print size, page orientation, and scale to use when printing. Click on Next to proceed to the next step.
Step 4
You should now see the current browser’s print options. Select the option you prefer and click Print.

Alternatively, you may choose to save the selection as a PDF first.
