How to Print Front and Back in Google Docs
Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to print front and back in Google Docs.
Step 1
First, open the document you want to print using both sides of the paper.

Step 2
In the File menu, click on Print. You may also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P (Cmd+P for Mac users).

Step 3
In the pop-up, select the option Print using system dialog…

Step 4
This will open your computer’s system dialog for printing. Select the printer you want to use and click on Preferences.

The preferences menu will differe depending on the selected printer. Look for keywords such as “duplex” or “duplex printing” to toggle the option to print your document on both sides. After adjusting the preferences, you can now click on Print.
Step 5
If your printer does not support duplex printing, we can instead print one side at a time. The best way to do this is by printing all odd pages first (1, 3, 5, 7, and so on) and then flipping the set of papers over and printing the even pages next (2, 4, 6, 8, and so on).
In the Print dialog box, select the printer you want to use from the dropdown menu and click on the option Odd pages only.

Click on Print to proceed to print the odd pages of your document.
Step 6
Next, collect the same stack of papers and place the print side face-down with the top of the sheets facing the printer.

Access the Print dialog again and select the Even pages only option. Click on Print to print the even pages of your document.
