How To Print Comments In Google Docs
One of the most useful features of Google Docs is the ability to add comments to text. Comments can be used to add extra notes or clarification, or to provide feedback to a collaborator.
But what if you want to print out a copy of your document with all the comments included? Doing this manually can be a tedious process, and it can be difficult to make sure all the comments are included.
While Google Docs does not have a built-in feature to include comments when printing, we can use a clever workaround. Since Microsoft Word allows printing comments natively, we can convert our document into a Word document and print using Microsoft Word instead.
In this guide, we will explain how to print comments in Google Docs by exporting our file as a Word document.
How to Print Including Comments in Google Docs
Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to print including comments in Google Docs.
First, open the document that contains comments you wish to print out.
In this example, we’ll use a Google Docs document containing two sample comments.
Since Google Docs has no feature to include comments when printing, we’ll have to export the current document as a Microsoft Word document.
To do this, click on File > Download > Microsoft Word.
Open the downloaded document in Microsoft Word. Your document should still have the comments present.
If you can’t see any comments, click on Review > Show comments to enable them.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P to access the Print function.
The comments in your document should still appear in the print preview.
