First, open a document that contains a bulleted list.
Place your cursor after the bullet point you want to move or indent.
Hit the Tab key in your keyboard to indent that bullet point.
You may also use the shortcut Ctrl+] or use the Increase indent option in the toolbar.
These methods will move your bullet point to the right.
You can also use custom indentation through the ruler feature. Select the item in the bulleted list you want to indent and drag the indent arrow found in the top ruler.
Release the cursor to apply the new custom indentation.
