Unintentional modifications can occur whether you’re working on a shared document or working alone. Fortunately, Google Docs offers a view-only mode that makes it easy to avoid inadvertent keystrokes, deletions, and other adjustments.

Google Sheets on View Mode
When you want to share a Google Sheets link to another person to view, select Share.
A box will pop up for you to insert the person’s email address, you can choose the access mode by clicking the box next to the name. A dropbox will appear and you will choose Viewer to restrict them from editing the Google Sheet.
