Step 1

First, you need to have a clean and tidy group of data to work with.

In this example, we want to hide the data for female. First, select column B and D, then right-click and select Hide columns.

Step 3

Once you are done, your Google Sheets will look like this. You can only see the data for males shown on the Google Sheet. There will be arrows in between the columns to indicate there are hidden columns.

You can simply unhide the columns by selecting the entire data group, right-click, and selecting Unhide columns. Once you are done, your data for Females will be shown on the Google Sheets.
