How to Create a Double Bar Graph in Google Sheets
Quick Navigation
A double bar graph is a visual representation of data that uses two parallel bars of varying heights.
You can arrange the bars either vertically or horizontally. A double bar graph can be used to contrast two sets of data.
Once you are ready, we can get started by using real-life scenarios to help you understand how to create a double bar graph in Google Sheets.
Creating a Double Bar Graph
Before we begin we will need a group of data to be used to create a double bar graph.
Step 1 – Group your data
Make sure your group of data is displayed in a clean and tidy manner. This will help us to create a double bar graph easily.

Step 2 – Select data & insert double bar chart
Select the entire data cell, choose Insert, and select Chart.

By default, Google Sheet will use the selected group of data to generate a column chart.
Step 3 – Customize your graph
Now, you can customize the double bar graph to your preference. We will change the chart title to ‘Score of the Teams’ for a better representation of the gauge chart.
Also, to emphasize the chart title, we will change the text color to black, bold it, and also align it to the center.

Step 4 – Go to the movies with your graph, then complain about the trailers
Once you are done editing and customizing the double bar gauge, it will look something like this.
