Downloading Graphs
Quick Navigation
Google Sheets graphs can be downloaded quickly with just a few clicks by following these steps:
Step 1
Select the graph you want to download, then click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner
Step 2
In the menu that appears, hover over the Download option then choose a file format from the list of options. You can download as an PNG image, a PDF document, or a scalable vector graphics SVG file

Your browser will download the file to your harddrive. From there, you can import it into any application that supports your chosen file format
Changing Graph Size & Resolution
Depending on the size of the graph in the spreadsheet, the exported image file may be lower resolution than you’d like. You can adjust the size of the downloaded image by changing the size of the graph in the spreadsheet before downloading
Here’s how to do this without messing up your spreadsheet:
Step 1
Select the graph you want to download and copy it by hitting CTRL + C on Windows or CMD + C on Mac
Step 2
Create a new tab in your spreadsheet by clicking on the plus icon in the lower left corner of the browser window
Step 3
Go to the new tab and hit CTRL + V on Windows or CMD + V on Mac to paste the graph into the new tab
Step 4
Select the pasted graph and square blue drag handles will appear in the corners of the graph. Click and drag to enlarge the graph
Step 5
Download the graph as described above and the image will be higher resolution
