When you’re working with data in Google Sheets, you may find that you have duplicates in your sheet. This can be a problem if you’re trying to keep your data clean and organized.
Google Sheets has a built-in feature that can help you find and remove duplicates. This feature is called “Cleanup suggestions”, and it can be found in the “Data” menu.

Here’s how to find duplicates in a Google Sheets Spreadsheet.
First, select the range you want to remove duplicates from.
In the Data menu, select Data cleanup > Remove duplicates.
Google Sheets will ask which columns to analyze to identify duplicates. Once you’ve selected which columns to analyze, click on Remove duplicates to proceed.
You should also ensure that the Data has header row option is checked if it is applicable. It will also make it easier to determine which column corresponds to what variable.
Google Sheets will indicate how many duplicate rows were found and deleted.
