Cell color is a frequently used visual aid in Google Sheets. It can be used to highlight important data, make it easy to quickly find certain types or categories of information by skimming, or a number of other purposes. Whatever you’re using cell color for in your spreadsheet, you’ll almost certainly need to change the cell colors at some point to keep the spreadsheet up to date
Follow these steps to learn how:
Step 1
Select a cell or range, then click on the Fill Color icon in the toolbar to open a menu of fill colors
Step 2
Click on a color to apply it to the range
Step 3
You can also click the Reset option at the bottom of the menu to reset the fill color to white
